Contrary to what my LinkedIn profile states, last Friday the 9th of April was OH NINEs 2nd birthday.
Wowzers, It feels like yesterday I was on the phone to clients between nappy changes explaining the difference between meetings with coffee and meetings with beer and why one attracted 47% FBT 😂
Crazy to think I have 2.5 year old little girl (light of my life) and a 2 year old business. What a bloody ride. Theres been a helluva lot of hard work, balancing and taking big leaps of faith. They haven’t always worked out for the best or how I had pictured, but we like to call those lessons. There has been plenty of lessons.
But why do we do it all?
I do it for the Freedom. It’s something I have always had a thirst for. Yes, the meaning of freedom has changed for me in the last 2 years. That’s the beauty of freedom it can hold different meanings for different people at different times in their lives. It grows and evolves as you do as a person.
What did it mean then? It meant having the freedom to spend those first moments with Bowie at home and still be able to provide for my family.

What does it mean to me now.
The freedom to be. The freedom to create. The freedom to inspire.
To be exactly where I am at this moment in time. Many lessons learnt and many still to learn. To create a home full of love for Bowie to grow up in. To create a business that makes a difference in the lives of our clients, that opens them up to create their own freedom. That starts with me creating a difference in the lives of my team. They are at the heart of what we do.
That’s the beauty of freedom it can hold different meanings for different people at different times in their lives. It grows and evolves as you do as a person.
To inspire those around us to stop and think about what it is they really want and collaborate on a plan of how the heck *WE* are going to get you there.
So yeah, in that last 2 years we have created something pretty special. We are in the business of freedom chasing.
